It’s a disturbing set of headlines, October has thundered in with far too many stories spotlighting sexual harassment, discrimination, and racism across various sectors in the UK.

First up, over sexual harassment concerns in English schools, the Government published guidance on the requirements on schools and colleges and discusses relevant recent developments. (House of Commons Library)

Forbes reported that the majority of workers from marginalised racial and ethnic groups have experienced racism

Sexual misconduct in NHS Hospitals is being ignored (BBC)

More than 70% of women in the whisky industry have experienced sexual harassment while at work according to a global survey. (The Spirits Business)

And, the Astronomy society revised their harassment policy after researchers voiced concern that the policy actually protected harassers.
