SaferSpace: supporting reporting

Why don’t people report

workplace harassment?

The top reasons for this are: victims aren’t sure what they’ve experienced is harassment. They don’t think they will be believed; they don’t know how to report harassment – processes are unwieldy. Or they are afraid they might lose their jobs.

But the laws around workplace safety are changing, especially when it comes to sexual harassment. The new Worker Protection Act, the Employment Rights Bill and a proposed amendment to the Health & Safety at Work Act all have a focus on sexual harassment. Employers need to create a safe working environment where the reporting of misconduct is encouraged. Employees should feel confident to report sexual harassment and know that they will be believed and taken seriously. They should also know who to report sexual harassment to and how. SaferSpace is the ideal application to support you and your people – it’s simple, robust and secure
